actually i came back home almost 3 weeks ago, just didn't have enough time to organize photos and blog them up. also wondering if i should keep blogging on this website even though i keep Facebook updated these days. plz add me on facebook if you have an account there and know me in person;)

it's geographically located in Africa and its closest country should be Morocco, though belongs to Spain. I had been waiting for this opportunity for more than one year. finally managed to get the chance at the end.
Laura the best friend and a super nice friend, Jowie got me at the airport, disguising themselves by totally crazy clothes and also nice suit. we went to many kinds of beaches, one with very high waves or dangerously strong tide or full of german tourist, or full of naked people sun-bathing and swimming that i became uneasy. to the best beach in spain, one with a yellow mountain beside, desert beach and so on. we even did camping on the beach and BBQ with a lot of people who were a bit shy to talk to someone new;)
i would say this place is one of the best places to live, with friendly locals and magnificent landscape and the sea, and yet convenient enough for living.

slideshow(Canary Islands, September 2007)

この群島は地理的にはアフリカになり、一番近い国はモロッコだがスペイン領。ここに行くことを一年以上ずっと願っていたがやっと最後の最後になんとかチャンスを得ることができた。
親友のラウラとナイスガイのジョーイは空港でおかしな変装でうまくぼくをだますことに成功。 その後は様々なビーチにつれてってもらう、たとえば波が異常に高いところや潮が危険なほど強いところ、ドイツ人観光者ばかりだったり、みんな裸で日光浴したり泳いでいて窮屈な思いをしたところ、スペインの中でも一番きれいなところ、黄色い山に面しているところなど。 ビーチの上でキャンプやバーベキューもして、他の仲間たちと楽しんだり。
ここは住むのに一番理想的な場所のひとつと言える。親しげな地元の住民、雄大な景観と海、それでいて生活するのに便利。

チェコとオーストリアの隣にある旧共産圏国のスロバキア。この国のさらに小さな町に住んでいる大家族に数日間おじゃまさせてもらうことに。総勢約14名で美味しいおばあさんの手料理をご馳走になったり、アジア人ですら非常に珍しいこの町にきた日本人（ぼく）に明らかに興味を抱いてくれて色々話をしたり、凍える寒さの巨大鍾乳洞の中の探検、採りたての蜂蜜となぜかウォッカ約5ショットを樵の村でご馳走になった後でスロバキアのちょうど中心にある山へハイキング、頂上に登り着いたところで足跡帳に下手すぎる日本語の俳句を一つ残し、壮大な草原でしばらく見張台に本物のライフルとともに篭り野生動物を静かに待ってみたり、そこでバーベキューをした後に歌を歌いながら今までに見たことのないぐらい奇麗な星空を見上げてみたりと・・・ 本当に貴重な体験をさせてもらい、この経験を通して、先進国と呼ばれる国々では遠い昔に失われてしまった心の豊かさを学んだ。
さらにこの心の豊かさは環境のみに拠るものではなく自分自身で如何様にも育てることができるものであるということも悟る。

因みにスロバキアは既に資本主義に移行されており、共産主義の面影を感じるのはたまにまだ走っている内装鉄板むき出しの有名な例の車や、見た目が収容所のような殺風景極まりないまだ使われている住居用ビル（ドイツ、ドレスデンの駅前に立ち並ぶ今はホテルとして流用されている例のつくりのビル）ぐらいか。

RedentoreとはヴェネチアのGiudeccaにある教会の名前だが、ペストが猛威をふるったときになぜか街を守ったという言い伝えがあり、毎年7月15日（14日）になるとヴェネチア全体でお祭りとなる。 本島とGuideccaの間に大きな運河があるがこの日だけ橋がかけられなんと歩いてわたれるようになるが、もちろん水上バスがこの区間すべてとまってしまうので逆に不便になったり。

このお祭りの見所は、見た目が日本のお祭りによく似ていること。柱の間にかけられた無数の提灯やその近くで営業してる屋台など・・ さらに、最近はなぜか日本の寿司をこの日のディナーとして作るイタリアの家庭が多いのだとか。まぁこっちで寿司というと巻物を意味することが多いけど。
そしてもう一つの見所はなんといっても芸術的な花火。

この日は友達の家庭にお邪魔して寿司を作るのを手伝いつつ、焼きパスタを披露・・

i just came back from the trip to Italy. as i knew that i was going to meet important person of my life, it actually happened. if i hadn't waited to travel to Italy until this time, it would never happen. in the perfect timing, in the perfect way. perhaps, this trip is gonna be the last trip for a while...

in the end, destinations i went were,

Venice
Pompeii
Siena
Assisi
Naples
Florence
Verona
Rome
Pisa

in order of intensity of my memories.

i feel like i was born again after this long journey although it was very easy trip among other trips thanks to friendly, open-minded locals who put colours onto my memories. i've learned a lot of things that i was missing. that's why this trip might be the end of my journey. the mission accomplished.
in end of the trip, sometimes i was thinking that i would be very happy if my life ended right now..

イタリアの旅からやっと帰ってきた。既に旅が始まる前から知っていたとおり、ぼくの人生を変える出会いが実際におきた。 まさにこのタイミングでイタリアを訪れてなかったとしたら、絶対に会っていなかっただろう。最高のタイミング、最高の形で。 もしかしたら今回が最後の旅になるかもしれない。

i would say that this is the hardest and most emotional, reckless, thrilling trip i've ever done. without detailed plan or particular preparation, i just bought flight tickets on the day before the departure day and then booked a hotel for the first night.. it's not so special when i travel alone as usual, but not this time. accompanied by parents and an aunt and i was responsible for everything as translator, planner, guide, caretaker, besides the remaining days were running out. i devoted myself and my whole time to make the trips memorable for them. that's the only my goal. thanks to my strong iron will, helpful people who never gave up helping us even if we couldn't understand our languages, and also miracles.
everytime hurdle appears before us, i made the impossible come true. that's what the journey taught me how. Belief in myself, never give up.

some of special things that happened during the trip are,
a small stone fell down from top of a famous cathedral church into my head and now it became my lucky stone. even i looked for other stones on the floor but i cound't find any, which means it was pretty rare.
i managed to rent a car for one day to go around small towns of spain, but the schedule was ridiculously reckless, so i drove like bullet, even though spanish highway has speed limit not like german. followed only my instinct without navigation system nor detail map, the instinct was always correct and never got lost.. so i was able to return the car just in time to catch the important train and kissed the lucky stone. also thanks to perfection of Mercedes at high speed:)
pocket pickers targeted us 3 times and they all failed. carefree japanese tourist is perfect honeypot for them, so they attacked us literally every day in barcelona and i kicked them out every time.. they were lack of moral and also practice.. it seemed like as if pocket picking is legal business in barcelona, nobody cares about it.

after all, this trip became the most memorable one we've ever done. the true journey is not always happy, easy or perfect, sometimes you'll want to cry and get angry at something you hate. this is almost how our life goes on. you can't be happy without going through unhappiness. i continue the journey as long as i live. remember, we're all travellers since we're given birth.

このポルトガル・スペインへの旅が今までで一番辛くて、感情的で、無謀で、ワクワクしたといえるだろう。プランや準備なしにとりあえず飛行機チケットを前日に買って、初日のホテルの予約だけして出発。自分ひとりの時には特別なことではないけれど、今回の場合は自分のほか両親と叔母の付き添い。そして役目としてガイドや通訳、旅行プランナー、世話役まで一人でこなさなくてはならない。それに彼らの滞在残り日数はなくなっていく。 とにかく旅が思い出になるようにだけ願って最大限の努力を惜しまなかった。
この集中力と、言葉が通じなくても親身に助けてくれた人たち、そして奇跡のおかげで度重なる困難が現れようとも不可能を可能にした。 それは今回の旅が教えてくれたこと。 「信じて諦めるな」

特筆する出来事をあげると、

教会の屋根から一つの小さい石が自分の頭にめがけて落ちてきた。その石は今では僕の幸運の印として大切にされている。

やっとのことで借りられたレンタカーでスペインの小さな村を訪ねることとなったが、予定が無謀だったため、発射された弾丸のように車を走らせる。カーナビや詳細な地図もなしに自分の直感だけを頼りにしたが、その直感が常に正しかったため迷うことなくようやく時間ぴったりに大切な電車に間に合い、そして幸運の石に感謝。もちろんベンツ車の驚異的な高速安定性にも感謝:p

スリに３度遭い、３度とも撃退。注意不足のスキだらけ日本人観光者はスリにとっての打ち出の小槌。ということでバルセロナでは毎日スリに襲撃され、そして毎回たたき出す。良心と練習不足の連中。あまりに誰も無関心なのでスリはバルセロナでは合法なビジネスかと錯覚。

結果として今回の旅は一番記憶に残るものとなった。 本当の旅とはいつも楽しくて、楽で、完璧と決まっているわけではなく、時には泣きたいときや激怒することもある。これは人生についてもいえること。 不幸を切り抜けることなくして幸せは味わえない。ぼくは生きている限り旅を続ける。生まれたときからすべての人は旅人なのだ。

真実に近づいてるかな？:)

finally, i've got enough time to update the blog.
the trip to these countries seems as if long time ago but it's been only 2 or 3 weeks. this is simply because i took trips and visited many cities in a very short period, we visited more than 2 cities almost everyday.

ようやくブログ更新する余裕がでてきた。
このオランダ・ベルギーへの旅は自分にとって大分前のことのように思えるが、実はたった２，３週間前。短い期間に一度に旅を繰り返したせいだろう・・ 一日に２箇所以上の街を訪れるのは当たり前。

well, the one of main purpose of this visit was to bring my baggage into my new room in Brugge, Belgium by car during the trip. but in the end, it was very good oppotunity to look around the country before start living there. small but diverse from place to place.

今回の主な目的は観光がてらに自分の引越し荷物を前もって車でブルージュ（ベルギー）へ運んでしまうこと。だけど住む前にこの近辺を色々見回ってみるいい機会だった。小さいけど場所ごとの多様性に富んでいる。

in Netherlands,
Utrecht - crowded with the young and tourist. home town of Miffy.
Gouda - cozy and relaxing tiny town with pretty houses.
Kinderdijk - not just a place of windmill! treasure box for those who like to take artistic photos.

オランダ：
ウトレヒト － 若者と観光客に溢れる。ミッフィーの生まれ故郷。
ゴウダ － 落ち着く小さい街でかわいい家がたくさん。
キンデルダイク － 風車があるだけの場所じゃない！ 写真家には非常に魅力的な素材に溢れる。

in Belgium,
Damme - isolated small town as if it's hidden.
Brugge - now it's my city, you'll often have an illusion of being medieval ages. very well-known sightseeing spot but still you can find your own favorite and secret place..
Gent - outstanding medieval atmosphere with gothic architectures. though, erectric wires of tram are getting in the way.
Brussels - complete mixture of race and culture, nations. the core city of european union. but the question is, what are you gonna do in this typical capital?
Namur - couldn't find anything interesting..
Dinant - gourmet. the city of fort. foods served in this region close to border with france are delicious!

ベルギー：
ダム － 隠されているかのように孤立した小さい街。
ブルージュ － 今の自分の街。しばしば道を歩いているとタイムスリップが味わえる。超有名観光地ではあるが、それでもなお自分だけのお気に入りの場所を見つけることができる。
ゲント － ゴシック建造物で圧倒的な中世の雰囲気。トラムの電線が非常に視界の邪魔。
ブリュッセル － 完全な人種・文化・国の融合。EUの首都。ただ、この典型的な首都で特になにをする？
ナミュール － 特に面白いものが見つけられなかった。。
ディナン － グルメ。 要塞の街。 このフランス国境に近い地域は食べ物が非常にうまい！

these are which i couldn't express in photos, and conclusion of the journey.

delight

-encounters. Krystina, originally from Sydney, I and she have many common points and we spontaineously discovered places and i'm inspired by her and so on.. Jared, from Austin. he has a variety of characters even though he makes jokes all the time;) we should get to know more about us as my english improves. Vince, from Paris, he is fond of japanese cultures and he's very motivated to start new life. his situation is overly the same as mine:) Julia, and other australian guys(sorry i'm terribly bad at remembering name..), a receptionist of the hostel originally come from Brazil. and other nice guys.

-melting pot of moods, you can choose a place to go depending on your mood. every kind of places exists very closely in Paris. so i was able to be just myself not trying to catch up with something else.

-i can sense something which is not painted everytime i stare at impressionist fine paintings. actually, it doesn't matter what you see but how you feel from the arts. they're full of emotion. in Paris, artists still inherit this concept.

surprise

-Krystina and I were taking photos at almost the same time, place and even angle without knowing each other.. before we first met at the hostel.

-when i was thinking about how i apologize that i couldn't find the perfect souvenir, i saw symbols of ladybug and.. in a showcase of a very tiny shop in the middle of nowhere. but i knew it was the place and sure i found the perfect in the end.

melancholy

-counting the rest of socks. it reminds me the end.

-if you walk along the Canal Saint-Martin, you'll see lots of red tents and homeless people living there, and also well-groomed people drinking coffee at neat cafes. many of them don't beg but go to work and some of them live in the tent just for experience how the life on the street is like. the reason is very simple, rent in paris is ridiculously expensive.

-there's no enough space to sleep peacefully even for 6 million remains. now they're placed underground in paris and became very famous spot for tourists. it was just too many to feel sympathy for them. death's around the corner, it's not matter of how long you live but matter of how you live at this moment -Carpe Diem-

meditation

-the dark wall, boring faces and nearly colourless reflections in the window, these are what i see on the metro. but one day, i saw gray hair of a elderly lady on board, once i looked at her reflection in the window, her hair had got colours like rainbow.. this moment was that i could see what i needed.

-facing farewell reinforces ties between people even though i will never be able to get used to it.

-how come we're separated by border, language, religion, looks, bias, race and sex? i realized that these differences motivate us to go journey and find each other in this world, and give us a chance to exchange thoughts. we're all gifted with feelings.

これらは写真では表現できなかったもので、今回の旅の締めくくり。

喜び

-出会い。 クリスティーナ、元はシドニー出身。多くの共通点があり、一緒にパリ中を歩き回って沢山の発見をし、ぼくに刺激を与えてくれた。 ジャレッド、 テキサス州から。 彼はいつも冗談を飛ばしているが、多様な面を持ち合わせている。ぼくの英語が上達すればもっと味わい深い仲になるに違いない。 ヴィンス、パリ出身。彼の置かれている状況はぼくのものととても似通っていて、新しいことを始めることに情熱を持っている。 ジュリア、他のオーストラリア出身の人々、ブラジル出身のホステルの受付の子、その他大勢！

-この街にはそのときの気分に応じて行き場所を選べる。それぞれの地域でそれぞれのムードを持っていて自分のペースで時間を過ごせる。

-見せる芸術ではなく感じさせる芸術、フランス印象派を受け継いだアーティストがまだこの街には溢れている。

驚き

-クリスティーナとぼくはなんとほとんど同じ時間、場所、角度の写真をお互い宿泊先で初めて会う前に撮っていた。

-頼まれていたお土産でぼくが気に入ったものが見つけられずに言い訳の言葉を考えていた最後の瞬間、思いがけない場所にとても小さい店のショーウィンドウの目の前であるものに釘付けになる。 結局そこで完璧のお土産を手に入れることができた。もう二度とあのお店を見つけることはできないだろう。。

憂鬱

-用意してきた靴下の数を数えるたびに終わりの時を感じる

-サン・マーティン運河沿いを歩けば大量の赤いテントを見つけることができる。そこではホームレスとその向かいで優雅にカフェでコーヒーを楽しむ客が向かい合う。彼らは仕事を持っているが異常に高いパリの部屋を借りる余裕が無い人たちがほとんどで、中には興味心でテントに住んでる人もいる。

-600万の亡骸がパリの地下道に移され、今では有名な観光スポットになっている。あまりに圧倒的な数の骸骨に、とても死が身近に感じることができる。長生きすることが重要ではなくいかに充実した死を向かえられるかどうか。 -Carpe Diem-

瞑想

-普段は暗い壁、退屈そうな顔、ほとんどモノクロの窓の反射しかみれない地下鉄の中で、ふと白髪の老人を窓ガラスの反射越しに見ると虹色に染められた髪が映し出される。 見たいものが見れた瞬間。

-別れと向き合うことは人間関係をより強固なものへとしてくれる。決して別れに慣れることはできないけれども。

-なぜ人は国境、言葉、宗教、見かけ、偏見、人種や性別によって切り離されているのだろうか。 それはこれらの相違点が我々を旅へと向かわせ、互いにこの世で見つけあい、そして分かり合うために与えられた尊い機会かもしれない。人はすべて感じるという能力に恵まれている。

now you can see how things are going inside my head;) Paris is a wonderful place also for those who look for nice objects to work on and unleash imaginations. my phtographic subjects on this journey seem to have become "shadow and light", "curve". everything is well balanced and contrasted in this city not only about pictures, such as "old and new", "wealthy and poor", "epic and sophisticated", "fantastic and realistic".

今度は自分の思うがままに捉えたパリ。テーマは自然と 光と影、曲線 となった。写真に限らずこの街では何事も非常によくバランスがとれている。

i spent much time wandering unpopular streets(sometimes in woods..) on that trip and discovered tons of hidden jewels and truth of the city. a trip becomes meaningful to your life when you're out of guidebooks or guided tours.

ちょっとした憧れの地であったスウェーデンのストックホルムへの旅。恐らくここはヨーロッパで一番、人の精神的な面で日本と近いところ。 暖かいもてなしの心や他人への気遣い、高い生活レベルを得ようとする強い意思、きれい・かわいい・繊細なものを求めるところなどなど。 ストックホルムの街を歩く人々の外見のレベルの高さはヨーロッパ（世界？）でも憧れの的といっても過言ではない:p
実際、スウェーデン生まれの世界中に大きく展開しているH&Mは私が海外で服を好んで買う唯一のフランチャイズ企業。 同じH&Mでも各店の品揃えに大きな趣向の偏りがあるのが大きな長所。
日本でよく見られる、近所同士のみえの張り合いも同じようにストックホルムの東側の裕福地帯であるとのことだが、自分のペースで生活できるある程度余裕がある環境を築ければなかなか理想的な移住の地になり得るかもしれない。

今回のスウェーデンへの旅がヨーロッパ滞在において大きなターニングポイントとなった。４，５日間付きっ切りで貴重な経験のアシストをしてくれ、新しい道へのヒントを与えてくれた大切な友達、Koriに大感謝！

Nürnberg & Erlangen にて友人宅にお邪魔し数日間滞在させてもらう、さらに観光とクリスマスマーケット散策。

Stockholm では週末＋休暇を取ってクリスマスマーケット、コンサート、超高級ホテルで関係者格安優待を使っての宿泊、その他友人による思いつき企画ととても濃い話しを楽しむ予定。

Dresden でクリスマスを友達とその家族と一緒に過ごさせていただく・・ヨーロッパ流の家族だけで過ごすクリスマスによそ者がお邪魔してごめんなさい・・ でもまさかクリスマスをドレスデンで過ごすなんて夢にも思わなかった;)

イタリア巡り
クリスマスが終わって中1日ほどでイタリア各地巡り約2週間の旅に1人で出発。 NewYearはどの街で向かえるかはまだ？？状態。 年末年始列車動いてるんだろうか？

上の３つはこの１～２日間で急に決まったため、本人は何から手をつけていいか混乱したためblogに投稿して状況をまとめてみた。。

街から街へ転々として観光するのも楽しいけどやはり一番楽しくて大切なのはかけがえのない友情です。これがなかったらこれほど盛りだくさんな年末年始になるはずもなく、旅する意味もなく、生きる意味さえも・・

体を万全に整えるのがまず第一の準備！

ついに当初からの一つの大きな目標の地であるアムステルダムにいってきた。
住んでいる場所から近いにもかかわらず予定を立てるたびに身の回りのトラブルが起きてキャンセルせざるをえなかったし、今回の行きの電車の中では大変な試練が待っていた。。まぁ近いようで遠かったいわく付きの街。

色んな人のこの街に対する感想を聞くと、景観が損なわれてるだとかドラッグ中毒者ばっかりという意見が多かったが、やはり自分の目で実際にみるのではまったく意見が違う。 短い言葉で表現しようとすると、
・自由と自制の文化
・誰でも受け入れてくれるOpen-mindedな街
・ありとあらゆる芸術があつまる
が精一杯。
駅から出ると、不思議なことに今までにないぐらい居心地がいい。目を閉じて息を深く吸い込むと開放感に満たされた空気が味わえる。
どの街にいっても必ず居るドラッグやアルコールを買うためにコップを抱えて施しを待つ浮浪者もみかけないし、すれ違う人々の表情が満足感に溢れている。
他の国のように下手にルールばっかり決めてしまって、それに反発する絶望感溢れた若者たちを大量生産するシステムよりはずっと画期的で自然であると思う。
この国では外国人という言葉さえ意味をもたないだろう。

そんな街からほんの少しのぶれた写真・・ 街で体感できたものが写真でなに一つ表現できていないのがもどかしい。

街を体感する以外にも古い同期に再会するという目的があった。 1万キロ以上離れた場所で同期に再会とは、普通に考えると面白い。 積もった話しも沢山できてこれ以上なにも望むことが無かった最高の旅

ただ、その分帰りの電車ではドイツの国境の内側に入ったとたんに警察によるサンプリングチェックという名の人種差別が行われた。外見でドイツ人以外とみなされればパスポートチェック、さらに黒人や中東系民族であれば旅券番号の照会と最後の台詞「Alles klar」がおまけについてくる。私の場合はヴィザチェックと「Danke Schön」なのに、この違いはなんだろうか。 それでもこれはこの国の実情をよくあらわしてると思う。政府による国際社会へのアピールと実情のギャップ。 オランダに入るときには入国チェックすらなかったのに。
さらにドイツ国鉄（Deutsche Bahn）は週末は数時間遅れるのが普通というのは分かってるからいいとしても遅れ出したとたんに英語のアナウンスを止めるのはとても興味深い・・ これも無責任と大らかさというのを取り違えているいい例だ。

残念ながらドイツの問題点ばかりが目立ってしまう旅でもあった
